It's Saturday and I'm typing this here at my friend Caroline's house on her 17" PowerBook. She has a baby named Caleb and I met him for the first time last night. He's a cutie!
We're going to see a kids' musical at my old church called "Promise U." My friend Tiph is directing it. Tiph & I did this same musical in 2000. The craziest thing is seeing a 6th grade girl singing a solo that her older sister sang 5 years ago.
My other friend Monica is coming down tomorrow for the 2nd showing.
It's nice to see friends that I haven't seen in a few months.

they're here!
Okay, here they are—the long-awaited (that's for you, Janet) updated pictures of my new house. I know it's been a long time, but now that I'm settling in, I was able to take these pics. I wanted to get stuff hung up before I took them, you know. The painting's done and my furniture is all in. So many people have helped and been so kind. God has been very good to me.
Well, here they are. I've even got some before and after pics to show you, 'cause that's the fun part!

I was thrilled to find how well my table matched the woodwork in here!
the kitchen—that'll be a painting project for another time. But I did get a new fridge!
And the front door ... they don't make 'em like this anymore (at least not for this price!)
