I went to my blog yesterday and realized that I haven't posted anything new for almost 2 months. It's been a busy time. I'm taking a Theology class which has a lot of reading. But it's been good. I just finished reading book 2 of Thomas Oden's systematic theology, The Word of Life. His approach is ecumentical and ancient, meaning that he uses the consensual thoughts of the Church throughout the last 2000 years, focusing on sources from the early Christian fathers, such as Augustine, Athanasius, and Gregory of Nanzianzen. He also uses Calvin and Luther. It is very interesting.
Anyway, the good news—I got a new car! It's already been over a month, but I'm lovin' it! It's a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero. Yes, I said goodbye to Lucy, my 1997 Neon. It's great to have a car that drives straight and smooth! As soon as I get a chance (and the weather allows me to wash my car), I will post a picture.
Today, I'm enjoying a Friday afternoon before I go to class tonight and all day tomorrow.
