That said, I received a very ironic email from them the other day. The subject line was, "What's Christmas really all about?" And then it continued, "Dear Moms and Dads, we know that you know Christmas is not really all about getting stuff ... we also know that our children can get pretty confused this time of year. Every billboard, radio station, email ad (hah!), and even the nightly news is brimming with slick messages: 'Gotta have!' 'Buy now!' 'Great deal!' In all of this frenzy, it’s tricky for even us adults (as wise as we are) to keep our focus on what this season is really all about. Emmanuel – God is With Us: This was the promise God’s angel gave to Mary—that she would give birth to a son, Jesus Christ. The greatest miracle of all time—God’s gift to us!"
Thanks, Big Idea, for getting it right and reminding us of this.
Then it went on to thank us for teaching our children the real meaning of Christmas and for allowing Big Idea to create stories and products that help make learning about Jesus fun.
Borderline, but still not quite ironic.
However, under this message was a graphic that said "Ye Olde Veggie Christmas Shoppe" with numerous Veggie gifts, paraphernalia, stocking stuffers, etc., oh, and a FREE Star of Christmas VHS with every order!

I was hooked ever since the day I heard Larry soulfully croon, "Oh Where Is My Hairbrush"...the poor guy was oblivious to the fact that most cucumbers don't have hair.

MOST cucumbers, Rob?
All I know is that if you leave 'em in the fridge long enough...something starts growing on their heads!
